This form is used to record cleaning and disinfection operations of places such as hot-cold water tanks, cooling towers, filters, water softeners, air handling units, fan-coils, UV filters, etc.

Description

  • Mechanical cleaning was done with a brush, all walls were disinfected with chlorinated water and brush
  • Opened inside for lime removal, internal maintenance, and painting
  • Pre-filter was replaced

OBJECTIVE

The aim is to regularly perform maintenance, cleaning, and disinfection of all devices and equipment related to the water system and ventilation-air conditioning system in the facility and to record every performed operation.

DEFINITIONS

  • Date: The date when the operation(s) were performed. (In Day/Month/Year format, e.g., 05/03/2018)
  • Place/Device: All devices and equipment related to the water and ventilation-air conditioning system where cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection operations are carried out.
  • Description: Details of the operations performed on all devices and equipment related to the water and ventilation-air conditioning system.
  • Inspector: The person(s) who inspect all cleaning, maintenance, and disinfection operations.

APPLICATION

For all water system and ventilation-air conditioning devices and equipment within the facility to operate healthily, efficiently, and without harming human health, regular maintenance, repair, cleaning, and disinfection operations must be performed and these operations must be recorded.

These systems include hot-cold water tanks, cooling towers, water treatment equipment (filters, water softening devices, UV filters, Activated Carbon Filters, etc.), air handling units, fan-coil units, split air conditioners, and all other water and ventilation-air conditioning system devices and equipment not mentioned here.

In the record form, the Date column is filled with the date of the performed operation (e.g., 12/02/2018), the adjacent Place/Device cell is filled with the name of the place or device where the operation was performed, and the Description cell is filled with details of the maintenance, repair, cleaning, and disinfection operations carried out.

The person inspecting the performed operations completes the record by signing in the Inspector cell corresponding to the date the operations were performed.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT FOR OPERATIONS

  1. May vary depending on the applications to be performed.

POINTS TO BE CAREFUL ABOUT

  1. In all maintenance, repair, cleaning, and disinfection operations to be performed, wearing goggles, masks, and protective clothing may be necessary.
