Focus Bulletin 75-22 Isolation Reminder

Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health Science Board periodically meets with the agenda of the course of the pandemic, quarantine rules, measures, and vaccination program, and the decisions taken are shared with the public through press releases.

Statement Regarding the Coronavirus Science Board Meeting (05.01.2022)

  • It was decided that quarantine durations should be rearranged considering the current conditions.
  • The quarantine period for positive cases has been set to 7 days.
  • After the 7th day, the quarantine period ends for individuals who show mild or no symptoms.
  • Positive cases who take a test on the 5th day and the test result turns negative can end their quarantine period.
  • Contacts who have received the booster dose within the last 3 months or have recovered from the disease are not quarantined. They continue their daily life with symptom monitoring and mask usage.
  • Unvaccinated contacts or those whose booster dose was more than 3 months ago are quarantined for 7 days. Symptom monitoring is performed.
  • Those who take a test on the 5th day and test negative can end quarantine early.

Statement Regarding the Coronavirus Science Board Meeting (12.01.2022)

In today's science board meeting, it was decided that contacts who have been vaccinated and received the booster dose will not be quarantined. Regarding isolation, all positive cases can end isolation after completing 7 days of isolation without taking a test.
