What is the Notification of Hazardous Waste?

It is the reporting of the quantity and types of hazardous waste generated within your business (fluorescent and mercury-containing lamps, spray cans, toners, agricultural chemical wastes, paint-varnish containers, waste transmissions, lubrication and hydraulic oils, waste condensers, etc.).

Why?

It falls under the scope of the "Regulation on the Control of Hazardous Wastes" dated 14.03.2005 and numbered 25755.

When?

The waste declaration form must be filled out, approved, and printed using the web-based program prepared by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization by the end of March of the following year at the latest, containing information for the previous year, and one copy must be kept for five years.

Where?

Businesses with a username and password must submit the notification at http://cevre.cob.gov.tr. If you have not previously obtained a Username and Password for the Hazardous Waste Declaration System; a new registration application must be made at http://cevre.cob.gov.tr, and with the printout obtained from there, you must apply to the Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization to which you are affiliated.

Record Keeping

A printout of the declaration form must be taken and kept for five years.
